Mother's day is on the way,

Mother's day is very special to each and every person around the world. Mother's are a beautiful gift from the god who always shares love unlimitedly. Even though I'm a mom I always want my mom to be with me all the time.

So here I brought an idea to draw a portrait of a mom and daughter. Whoever wants to gift their mom or daughter try this simple painting. I tried this painting thinking of the upcoming mother's day.


The first thing I did is I chose colors of light blue, deep blue, purple, and black and placed the dots of colors at the center of the paper or canvas. 

Black on the top, Purple next to the black, then deep blue and light blue.
Usually, I will go from light colors but here I started from black because it's like a night view.
Here I used a flat brush to do the shade started from black, purple, deep blue then to light blue.
Once it completed and dried I made a pencil outline for the image that I m going to paint.


As I made this rough pencil outline this outline can be made of a micron pen or a marker as well. For this painting, I used black and dark brown mixed color for the rooftop and brown color for the wall, again black and dark brown mixed color for the grill and lamp post, for the balcony floor yellow and brown mixed color. For lights in the house, serial lights, and for lampost light, I used yellow and white mixed color. For the rooftop, wall, and balcony floor I used a flat brush. For the grill, wires, and lampost I used a round brush instead we can use a micron pen or marker pen as well.


The next step is to fill up the sky with the moon, stars, and drizzling snow with white and yellow mixed color. For the moon, I used a flat brush to fill the circle, and for snow and stars just take the paint in a round brush to make sure it's not dropping. After that just start hit the brush with another brush so it will just spray to give the star a snow look. And for the shooting starts liner brush will work.

Finally, it's done for perfect lines try using a pen so that it will give perfection to the painting here I used the brush for the next time I will try it with a micron pen or marker. Try this portrait with your own to make your mom or daughter happy, if you like it try and share your experience.

Acrylic painting with plates

What you can do with one use plates? I like to use paper plates for painting which is fun thing to do. I always wanted to give a try. For that I came up with an idea of trying cherry blossom and blue sky. I hope  everyone likes Spring and cherry blossoms beautiful scenery.  Here I tried it with Acrylic painting on simple one use white plate and used vibrant Colors.  For this I used Real blue, Blue cotton and White color Acrylic  paints as a background colors. For the tree and ground I used Brown marron and Tuscan red colors and used for the bark and ground.
