How to draw Mandala Art?
The first time when I saw mandala art all I saw was a rangoli which we normally put in front of the houses in India. As a girl in village side usually hold one rangoli book with lots of handprinted designs of rangoli with dots and without dots. It was a tradition to put that rangoli during specific months of festive times. Some will put that rangoli everyday morning in front of the house. it was fun to do that rangoli during competitions and during college days whenever there was any cultural functions rangoli was a must.
From there I started to like to do mandala art and once I started Instagram and Pinterest whenever I come across any mandala drawing I will save that immediately. After my marriage, all I will do is save but after that rarely I was drawing due to family commitments. Then again I started doing that drawing during pregnancy, I will also do quilling. My habit is to hold one not and some pencil and pen always wherever you go. The following image was tried while I came to the US, that time I did it in pencil and hands for drawing circles. After that using thing around the home to make circles.
